Wyoming LLC Non Resident

Start a Professional Wyoming LLC with an Attorney and Access Banks, Payment Processors, and E-Commerce Accounts

Non-Residents Need U.S. Proof of Business Address

Many websites promise quick Wyoming LLCs. But few understand what non-U.S. residents actually need to open a U.S. bank account or pass Know Your Customer verification with Stripe, Amazon, or other financial accounts.

Get this wrong, and it leaves your business stuck. No bank account. No way of receiving or sending U.S. dollars without high exchange fees. Your company is registered on paper, but you can’t use it. Your business is stopped before it’s even started.

Banks and payment processors now require non-residents to have a physical, verifiable business address in the United States. Not a P.O. box. Not a virtual mailbox. This doesn’t work anymore. They will ask for proof of address documents in the form of a lease agreement or utility bill. If you can’t provide these, your account will be rejected or suspended.

This isn’t the only risk to your business. Other LLC services use the same low-quality address for thousands of businesses, which might seem fine at first. But when too many companies share one address, financial services start flagging it as high-risk. Once that happens, your business account can be suspended or rejected entirely.

But it’s not your fault. How would you know? Cheap LLC formation services won’t tell you this. So we’re exposing these services and showing you how to form a Wyoming LLC or corporation correctly with a real, physical U.S. office address to open e-commerce and payment processor accounts.

What Makes Start in Wyoming Different?

At Start in Wyoming, every one of our Complete Formations comes with a real, physical office address, not a mailbox address. This includes a professional lease agreement in your business’s name and the option to add an Internet utility bill. These have been accepted by banks, Stripe, and Amazon Seller accounts.

Every Complete Formation is overseen by Wyoming attorney Alex Freeburg, the managing attorney at Freeburg Law. He has practiced law in Wyoming for over 12 years. This ensures your company is set up legally and correctly for your needs in the U.S.

We don’t resell another company’s address. You’re not getting some empty warehouse with 100K fake businesses. Instead, you’re forming a company at a working office building staffed by real people with experience and reputation

Our Guarantee

If you can’t verify your account using our address and documents upon sign-up, we’ll refund your first month’s rent and cancel your lease contract free of charge. • 2 Minutes

It takes two minutes to complete the purchase form. All you have to do is provide your business name and contact details.

  • 1 Hour Call

We will arrange a call with Alex, our attorney, for purchasers of the Complete LLC Formation at the first available date. This call establishes your attorney-client privilege and ensures you're setting the company up legally and correctly. We can do this via email if you’re not comfortable speaking English.

  • 1 Business Day

Within one business day, our team will create your LLC and start preparing your EIN application, send your operating agreement and cover letter, and assign your unique suite number and lease agreement. The lease has professional letterhead and will show your business name and full address.

  • 1 Week

If you need a utility bill, we’ll connect you with our partner Internet Service Provider. They work with you to set up an account in your business name and address. It can take up to a week to get your first utility bill sent via email.

  • Receive Your EIN and Start Your Business

Your company is ready to submit the EIN and lease agreement or utility bill (if you need it) to your bank, payment processor, or e-commerce platform. If any questions arise, we will help troubleshoot and provide additional documentation.

There’s No Such Thing As An "Expedited EIN"

If you have an SSN or ITIN, you can apply for an EIN through the IRS online portal. The IRS will issue an EIN immediately. Our team is happy to help you with this process.

If you don’t have an SSN or ITIN, you must mail or fax a form to the IRS. Our team will do this form for you and fax it to the IRS, as we have found this to be the quickest method. The IRS is notoriously slow, so this can take several weeks. Sometimes the IRS issues the EIN in two weeks, but that’s a best-case scenario.

Some services will try to charge you more for an “expedited EIN”. There’s no such thing as an expedited EIN. These services are faxing the EIN just like us. The only difference is that they are calling the IRS, hoping that your EIN gets returned quickly to make more money from you. If we don’t hear from the IRS after two weeks, we will also call them until the EIN is sent. The same service, without being upsold.
