Wyoming Virtual Office
Get Help to Open a Bank, Payment Processor, or Amazon Seller Account for Your Business
Before Buying a Virtual Office, Know What You Actually Need
You’ve formed the company. You’ve gathered your documents. Maybe you’ve even started trying to open accounts for your business already.
Then the bank, Stripe, Amazon Seller Central, or another platform asks for something you weren’t expecting. Proof of address. A utility bill. More information about the business.
Or worse, you get rejected, flagged, or suspended without a clear explanation. Now you’re trying to figure out what went wrong.
Was it the business address? Your documentation? Your website? The way the application was filled out? So you start searching.
One person says you need a physical office. One YouTube video says you need a utility bill. Another says you don’t. You buy another service and still have no idea whether you’ve fixed what the platform actually cares about.
The problem isn’t necessarily that you haven’t bought the right service. It’s that you’re making decisions without knowing what your business actually needs.
Another Address Might Not Fix It
It’s tempting to assume the address is the problem because it’s one of the easiest things to replace. Sometimes it may be. But spending more money and time updating your business information might be a waste if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Not Every Verification is the Same
Platforms do not evaluate every business in exactly the same way. The advice you found for someone else’s company may not tell you what matters for yours. Without looking at the whole setup, it’s easy to fix one thing while overlooking another.
You Don’t Know Why the Application Failed
A rejection rarely gives you a useful checklist of exactly what needs to change. That leaves you trying to reverse-engineer the problem yourself.
What makes us different?
We start with an assessment to understand your business setup, the accounts you need, and what you already have in place. Sometimes that plan includes using our office. Sometimes it means fixing something else first.
If you do need our Wyoming virtual address, it’s a real, physical office with a street address verified by the US Postal Service.
The office building is owned by our founder, Alex Freeburg. Alex is a licensed attorney in Wyoming. He has practiced law in Wyoming for over 12 years through his firm, Freeburg Law, founded in 2013. Freeburg Law is still actively practicing law with four attorneys.
When you lease an address from us, you’re not getting some empty warehouse with 100,000 scam businesses. Instead, you’re leasing a working office building staffed by real people with experience and reputation.
Find Out What You Need To Get These Accounts
We’ve helped hundreds of entrepreneurs work through the verification process for business bank accounts, payment processors, e-commerce platforms, and other important business accounts. Start in Wyoming is an official partner of Mercury and Relay. Find out what you need.
How Does it Work?
Our Guarantee
If you can’t open a US Stripe or Amazon seller account upon signup, we’ll refund your purchase and cancel your lease contract free of charge. Just share screenshots or official correspondence of your rejection, so we can help troubleshoot first. Sometimes verification is successful after a few attempts. You may use the address for other business accounts, but we don’t guarantee success.
- 1. Complete Your Business Assessment
Start by filling out a short assessment. It takes a few minutes and helps us understand your business, the accounts you’re trying to open, and where you may need help. The more we understand upfront, the better we can assess what your business actually needs.
- 2. We Review Your Setup
We’ll review your assessment based on our experience helping hundreds of entrepreneurs. Many entrepreneurs don’t understand how these platforms verify accounts.
- 3. Walk Through Your Verification Plan
We'll explain exactly what you need. We can provide account opening guides, sign-up links for Mercury and Relay, review your documentation, and consultation calls to walk you through the process.
- 4. Set Up Your Virtual Office (If You Need One)
If a virtual office is part of your plan, we can have you onboarded within one business day. Your virtual office includes a real business address and lease agreement in your business’s name. You can also add an internet utility bill in your business’s name. For Amazon seller accounts, you’ll need both the virtual office and utility bill.

Lease Agreement
A professional lease agreement in your business name, signed by a licensed Wyoming attorney. The lease doesn’t include the word virtual anywhere. It is worded just like a traditional office lease.
Utility Bill
A virtual office with utility bill in your business’s name from a well-known ISP is provided upon request. There is an additional charge for this service, paid directly to the Internet Service Provider.
Mail Scanning Services
We will receive and scan important mail related to your business, such as a letter from the IRS or a bank. Mail receiving doesn’t include marketing mail or packages. Mail forwarding details below.
Local Team
We own the office building and have a local team available in the office during office hours. We don’t act as a middleman like some services and pass you on to shadowy third parties.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same thing as a virtual office?
Even though we sometimes call this a Wyoming virtual office, it is a real office building owned by our founder and attorney, Alex Freeburg. The only difference from a traditional office rental is that you can do everything remotely. There’s no need for you to visit the U.S. in person. Our local team handles everything for you.
Can I use this for my LLC filing?
Yes, you can use this address as the principal office address when filing your company. If you have an existing company, you can change your address to us. We also have a registered agent service if you’d like a high-quality registered agent address.
Will this work from my country?
We cannot help people open a bank account who are living in a country that is sanctioned by the U.S. government. We also can’t help people who are living in countries that are on a bank’s prohibited list. We recommend checking the requirements of a few banks before purchasing. You can contact our team if you are unsure.
Can Start in Wyoming help me open a bank account?
Start in Wyoming has a partnership with Mercury and Relay.
First you should complete the free business assessment. This allows our team to analyze your current setup and whether you’re eligible for banking.
We can then provide advice based on your situation. We recommend Relay as our number one choice, as we can submit the application for you.
Can I open a traditional bank account?
We have had clients successfully open accounts with brick-and-mortar banks such as Chase. However, traditional banks will typically require non-U.S. residents to attend an in-person meeting and have an ITIN or SSN. If your business plans to deposit a significant amount of money, exceptions can sometimes be made. Contact us for more information.
Can I use this if my company is formed in another state?
Yes, most banks and services, such as Amazon, allow your business address to be different from the address on your formation documents.
How long does setup take?
We typically provide the address and lease agreement within one business day. We will connect you with an Internet Service Provider upon request. The utility bill can take a few days to set up.
Can I have mail forwarded?
Yes, you can have mail forwarded. We will provide you with an invoice for a FedEx quote and a $20 service fee. Our team will handle everything else. We don’t receive or process packages.
What happens if I need to close my business?
If you’re genuinely dissolving your LLC or shutting down the business, we’re happy to cancel the lease contract. Please send us the dissolution paperwork.
Can I use this for Shopify Payments?
We don’t recommend using the office for Shopify Payments verification. Our understanding is that Shopify requires proof that your business actually operates in the U.S. This requires more than an office address. You can try it, but we make no guarantees.
Can you help me open an Amazon Seller account?
We can send a walkthrough guide after purchase. You will likely also need to purchase the utility bill add-on to pass Amazon’s verification process. You must also be from an accepted country.
Can you help me open a Stripe account?
Getting a Stripe account should be straightforward once you have a bank account. Stripe may require a utility bill for a U.S. account. You can purchase this add-on if you require it.
